We made a few movies of Nano running around in the snow. She seems to enjoy sticking her nose in it a lot. You can see how it sticks to her paws, turning them in cotton-ball-paws. We can only get it out by putting her in the shower, which she doesn't particularly like.

Nano in the snow It started snowing a few days ago, a fairly rare event judging from how the trains stopped going. On the other hand, that says more about the trains than the actual weather.

Nano enjoys the snow very much and randomly barks at it when she sees it falling. She loves rolling around in it, for some reason, sticking her nose in it and getting covered with snow. It sticks to her fur a lot, she needed a shower to get it all out. She looked like one of those cotton-ball-sheep :)

Stuck under the sofa. This morning I got up and walked into the livingroom, finding Nano (looking smug) on the sofa with an empty chocolate-bar wrapper between her paws. I thought I had stored the bar away, cause I always do that. Not last night, unfortunately, so when I saw her looking at me and the leftovers of the wrapper, I freaked out a little. A call to the vet calmed me down (kudos to the other person on the line), as we calculated how much she had and what type. She had about half of the 'minimal toxic (not lethal)' dose, the vet said.

The vet told me to keep an eye on Nano, feed her some extra to dilute the chocolate somewhat and check to see if Nano drank enough. She drank a lot today, and spent some time on the sofa making small whining noises (I suspect a tummy ache) and seems otherwise fine.

This of course happens right after boyfriend suggested poisoning the dog in my Nanowrimo-novel.

Close up of robot-heart.Spreadshirt scarf, Raah.Spreadshirt scarf, Raah.Nano shows off Robot scarf.Spreadshirt scarf, wrapped macbook.

Today we walked to the vet and back, a good hour and twenty minutes walking. Nano had to get her shots and we only spent about fifteen minutes in the vet's office. Her UTI has gone but she has to continue her special diet food for a little bit longer to make sure everything clears up.

When we got home I checked the mail and happily found two items from Spreadshirt in my mailbox. Both my scarves arrived at the same time. Ofcourse I opened them straight away, and immediately felt a bit shocked. I misguessed the actual size of the scarves and the design on them got a bit bigger than expected. No worries though, I still love them both :D

The scarf can completely wrap my macbook pro (always handy) and feels nice and light. The design-part feels a bit stiffer, due to the print on it, and I do think the flock-printing turned out really nice. Raah's scarf turned out less stiff than Robot, due to the large blocks Robot has (fixing that to make it thinner). Overal, very happy, nice large scarves might not fit the current warm weather, but with today being the last day of summer, can't get them early enough :)

Nano on ice.It got cold, which made my RA worse. Nano on the other hand seems to enjoy it. We had a little bit of snow this morning, and the pond nearby froze up.
Unlike me, Nano does not fear the ice and she ran off, several metres onto the ice, looking around for ducks. They had left.
